Do they look like real hair tents?+
For RAK we offer authentic woven outer covers and high-performance PVC covers printed with a realistic hair texture. The woven cover gives the true character of a traditional tent, which suits heritage and desert camps. The printed PVC looks very similar at normal viewing distances and is waterproof, UV-resistant and easy to maintain, and because it is tensioned on a frame, it copes well with RAK's stronger winds. Many villa owners choose printed PVC outside and traditional fabrics inside. We can show you samples of both.
Can you install a bathroom inside the Majlis?+
Yes. Custom majlis tents in Ras Al Khaimah often include partitioned washrooms and small preparation kitchens, so guests can be hosted fully within the majlis. These rooms have proper walls, doors, ventilation and lighting, and plumbing and drainage are connected to the property's services by a licensed contractor. For desert camps and remote sites, we can plan the layout around portable services instead. Permanent structures may need RAK Municipality approval and, in managed communities, an NOC, which we prepare and submit.
