Conical Car Parking Shades cover each bay with a cone-shaped canopy that rises to a single central peak, rather than a flat or ridged roofline. That peak does two practical jobs: it lets hot air collect and vent upward through the apex instead of pooling under the fabric, and its steep, all-round slope sheds rain and dust quickly from every side of the cone rather than pooling on a flat section of roof. The rounded, tent-like silhouette also gives each bay a distinct, freestanding look, which is why conical shades are often chosen for single-bay or scattered parking spots — hotel valet drop-offs, boutique villa entrances, and feature parking bays — where a uniform block of identical flat canopies would look out of place.

The cone shape lets hot air rise and vent through the single high point instead of collecting under a flat panel, and the constant slope on every side sheds rain and dust immediately rather than pooling in a low corner the way a flat roof can. It's also visually distinct, which suits standalone or feature parking bays.
They work well as single, independent units — each cone stands on its own support and doesn't need to be linked to neighbouring bays. That makes them a popular choice for hotel valet drop-offs, individual villa entrances, and scattered feature parking spots rather than long continuous rows.
Standard sizing runs from a single-car 6.0m x 3.0m footprint up to a 6.0m x 6.0m two-car bay, with a 2.5m open height as standard and custom sizing available on request. Our team can advise on the right diameter based on the number of vehicles and the site layout.
The Conical Car Parking Shades specifications on this page — spans, frame materials, fabric weights, load figures and warranty terms — are set by Dhilal Al Qamar's own design and engineering department, the same team that produces the shop drawings, structural calculations and wind-load analysis for every project we deliver. Structures are then fabricated at our Sajja, Sharjah facility and installed by our own trained crews rather than subcontractors, so the figures published here are the ones we build to.
