The east coast's climate — humidity, winter rain, onshore wind — means the tent is specified with waterproof roofs and walls and anchored for the exposure, and then insulated, lined, carpeted, air-conditioned and lit for the winter and Ramadan seasons.
Every tent is trial-erected and inspected at our Sharjah facility before it travels, and a Fujairah build is planned as one programme with the crew on site for the whole of it, so the longer journey does not affect the date the family or the resort wants. When the season ends the same crew dismantles it.

Are the arabic majlis tents suitable for summer use in Fujairah?+
Yes. Our year-round majlis tents in Fujairah are insulated with polyurethane foam and fitted with split or ducted air-conditioning, keeping them cool in summer. On the humid east coast, air-conditioning also keeps the interior dry and fresh, which protects the linings and furnishings from damp. Insulation between the outer cover and lining reduces heat gain, and sealed walls with proper doors keep cool air in and humid air out. We size the air-conditioning for the space and plan drainage for condensation, so water is carried away from the majlis.
Can I choose the interior fabric patterns?+
Yes. Fujairah clients can choose from traditional Sadu patterns, damask fabrics and modern minimalist linings, and we can combine them to suit the home. Sadu weaves bring Bedouin heritage, damask a formal richness, and plain linings a contemporary feel. Because of the east coast's humidity, we recommend linings and fabrics that resist mould and are easy to clean, and we make sure the interior is well ventilated. We bring swatches and photos of finished majlis tents to the site visit.
Do they look like real hair tents?+
We offer both authentic woven outer covers and high-performance PVC covers printed with a realistic hair texture for Fujairah. The woven cover has the true character of a traditional tent, while the printed PVC looks very similar at normal viewing distances and is completely waterproof. On the east coast, where rain is more frequent and humidity high, the printed PVC is usually the better long-term choice, because it sheds rain, resists mould and needs no maintenance beyond a rinse. Samples of both are available.
Can you install a bathroom inside the Majlis?+
Yes. Custom majlis tents we build in Fujairah often include a partitioned washroom and a small preparation kitchen, so guests can be served without entering the main house. These rooms are built with proper walls, doors, ventilation and lighting, and good ventilation is especially important in Fujairah's humidity. Plumbing and drainage are connected to the property's services by a licensed contractor. Permanent structures may need Fujairah Municipality approval, which we prepare and submit as part of the project.
