On a terrace, the columns are usually fixed with base plates and chemical anchors into the structural slab rather than new footings, so we check the slab's thickness, reinforcement and waterproofing before designing the fixings. Where the slab cannot take the load, we can fix to structural walls or beams, or propose a lighter structure.

We check each site in person before designing.

For standard residential installations in Ras Al Khaimah, we usually complete the project within 3 weeks. Large commercial installations at resorts may take 4-6 weeks, depending on scale. The timeline covers design, any approvals, fabrication in our Sharjah facility and installation on scheduled RAK project days. Foundations need time to cure before the fabric is tensioned, which is built into the programme. For resorts, we plan installation around occupancy and events, and can work in phases so part of the pool deck stays open.
