Products & Materials

What materials do you use for shade structures in the UAE climate?+

We use UV-resistant, heat-tolerant materials specifically chosen for UAE conditions. Our fabric options include PVDF-coated PVC (the most popular choice, with 95%+ UV blockage and 10-year warranty), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) knitted shade cloth (lightweight, breathable, 5-7 year warranty), PVC membranes (for tensile structures), and PTFE-coated woven glass (premium membrane fabric for permanent installations with 30-year design life). Structural frames are hot-dip galvanised steel, mild steel with powder coating, or marine-grade aluminium alloy T6-6061, all rated for UAE summer temperatures exceeding 50°C and high humidity.

What fabric colours are available?+

Standard fabric colours include White, Cream, Green, Dark Green, Grey, Dark Grey, Orange, Yellow, Black, Red, Blue, and Dark Blue. Custom colours and branded prints are available on request — useful for hotels, retail brands, and corporate clients who need shade structures to match brand guidelines. PVDF-coated PVC holds colour best over the long term, with minimal fading even after 10 years of UAE sun exposure.

Which shade type is best for residential car parking?+

For most residential UAE villas, we recommend either a top-support car parking shade (cleanest visual profile, easiest to integrate with villa architecture) or a tensile-roof car parking shade (more dramatic visual statement, excellent UV blockage). For exposed coastal or sandstorm-prone locations, a K-Span roof or GRP roof system offers maximum durability at slightly higher cost. We always recommend a site visit before specifying — the right product depends on plot orientation, prevailing wind, and the surrounding architecture.

Can I see samples of fabric and frame finishes before ordering?+

Yes. We can bring fabric swatches and frame finish samples to your site visit free of charge, or you can visit our showroom and factory in Sajja Industrial City, Sharjah, to see full-size product samples installed for demonstration. Visits are by appointment — call +971 56 810 7872 or +971 52 574 3917 to schedule.

Quotes & Pricing

How do I get a quote?+

Contact us via the website form, call +971 56 810 7872 or +971 52 574 3917, or WhatsApp us with your requirements. For residential projects we typically arrange a site visit within 24-48 hours; for commercial projects we may request preliminary drawings or photos first. Standard residential quotations are issued within 2 working days of the site visit; commercial quotations within 5 working days depending on engineering complexity.

Do you charge for a site visit or quotation?+

No. Site visits, measurements, design recommendations, and quotations are all free of charge for UAE clients. We only charge once a project is contracted. For international enquiries or very large commercial tenders, we may request a contribution to travel costs — but this is rare.

What is included in a typical car parking shade quote?+

Our quotations are itemised and typically include: fabric supply (with material grade, colour, and warranty terms), structural steel or aluminium supply (with finish specification), foundation works (concrete anchors or surface fixing), transport to site, full installation labour, structural engineering documentation (where required), and applicable VAT. There are no hidden charges — what you see in the quotation is what you pay.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?+

We typically require 50% advance on contract signing and 50% on completion for residential projects. For commercial and government projects, we work with the client's standard payment terms (e.g. 30/60/90 day net) on agreed milestones. We do not currently offer consumer financing, but most clients find our terms straightforward.

Installation & Timeline

How long does installation take?+

For a standard residential car parking shade (1-2 car bays), our typical end-to-end timeline is 3-5 working days. Larger residential projects (full villa pergola + parking + cabanas) usually run 1-2 weeks. Commercial projects with 10+ bays or large tensile structures generally run 2-4 weeks. Government projects requiring municipal approval add 2-6 weeks to the cycle for the approval process. We provide a detailed schedule in writing as part of the contract.

Do you handle municipal approvals?+

Yes. For shade installations on commercial premises, government compounds, or community developments that require Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DMT, or Sharjah Municipality approval, our engineering team prepares the structural drawings, calculations, and material certificates required, and we handle the submission process. For residential villa projects, municipal approval is usually not required, but we are familiar with the community-management rules across most major UAE developments.

Will installation disrupt my home or business?+

We minimise disruption wherever possible. Most residential installations are completed during regular working hours with the homeowner present or absent as preferred. For commercial sites, we schedule around your business hours — installations at restaurants and hotels are typically done during low-traffic windows, and for schools and offices we work during weekends or scheduled closures. Site safety is a top priority and we follow UAE labour and safety regulations on every job.

Can you install during summer?+

Yes. Our crews work year-round including the summer months. UAE labour law restricts outdoor work during the hottest hours of midsummer afternoons (mandatory 12:30-15:00 rest period from mid-June to mid-September), but this rarely materially affects project timelines — we simply schedule heavier physical work for the cooler morning and late-afternoon windows.

Warranty & Maintenance

What is your warranty policy?+

Fabric warranties range from 5 years (HDPE knitted shade cloth) to 10 years (PVDF-coated PVC) to 30 years (PTFE-coated woven glass) — covering UV degradation, manufacturing defects, and seam failure under normal use. Structural components (steel frames, fixings, hardware) carry a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty does not cover damage from extreme events (e.g. impact damage, vandalism), unauthorised modifications, or lack of basic maintenance. Warranty claims are handled directly by our Sharjah team and most fabric replacements complete within a week.

How do I maintain my shade structure?+

Maintenance is minimal: (1) Clean the fabric 2-3 times per year by spraying with fresh water and soft brushing if needed — no harsh chemicals; (2) Inspect fixings and hardware annually for any signs of looseness or corrosion (rare in our installations but good practice); (3) Re-tension fabric every 3-5 years if you notice any sagging — we can do this as part of an annual maintenance visit. For commercial clients we offer scheduled annual maintenance contracts at a fixed monthly fee.

Do you offer fabric replacement services?+

Yes. We replace fabric on shade structures we built and on structures built by other contractors. A typical fabric replacement is faster and cheaper than a full new installation because the structural frame stays in place. We assess the existing frame condition, agree the new fabric specification and colour, and complete the replacement on-site — usually within 1-2 days.

Can I move a shade structure to a new location?+

Yes — we offer parking-shade shifting services. We carefully dismantle the structure, transport it, and reinstall at the new location with new foundation work. This is a popular service when residential clients move villas or businesses relocate. Cost is typically 40-60% of a new installation depending on structure size and condition.

Coverage & Service Area

Which emirates do you serve?+

We serve all seven UAE Emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. Our manufacturing facility is in Sajja Industrial City, Sharjah, and our crews mobilise from there to project sites across the country. Same-day mobilization is typical for Sharjah and northern Dubai; next-working-day mobilization for southern Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the northern emirates.

Do you serve outside the UAE?+

Occasionally, for large GCC projects. We have completed installations in Oman and Bahrain in the past, and we can quote international projects where the scope justifies the travel and logistics. For routine residential or small commercial projects we focus on the UAE market.

Do you serve trade clients (other contractors and fabricators)?+

Yes. Trade clients can purchase fabric rolls, structural steel sections, hardware, and pre-fabricated tensile components directly from our Sajja warehouse at trade pricing. Volume agreements and recurring supply arrangements are available — please call to discuss.

What languages do you work in?+

Our primary business language is English. Arabic-language support is available on request via phone or in-person meetings. All written documentation (quotations, contracts, drawings) is issued in English. We can provide bilingual documentation for government and large commercial clients on request.
