Are the arabic majlis tents suitable for summer use in Sharjah?+
Yes. For permanent and semi-permanent use in Sharjah, our Arabic majlis tents are insulated with polyurethane foam and fitted with split or ducted air-conditioning, so they remain cool through the summer. The insulation between the outer cover and inner lining cuts heat gain, and sealed joints and proper doors hold the cool air in. Families in Al Khan, Al Nahda and Al Taawun use their majlis every day to receive guests, and insulation and good air-conditioning make it comfortable all year. We size the cooling for the space and position the outdoor units away from seating.
Can I choose the interior fabric patterns?+
Yes. Sharjah clients can choose from traditional Sadu patterns, damask fabrics and modern minimalist linings, and we can combine them to suit the home. Sadu weaves carry the geometric designs of Bedouin heritage, damask gives a formal and luxurious finish, and plain linings suit modern villas. Walls, ceiling, cushions and curtains can be coordinated, and we add carpets, lighting and wooden details to finish the interior. Our showroom and workshop in Sajja hold fabric samples, so you can see and feel the options before choosing, and we can visit your home with swatches too.
Do they look like real hair tents?+
For Sharjah we offer authentic woven outer covers and high-performance PVC covers printed with a realistic hair texture. The woven cover gives the genuine look and feel of a traditional hair tent, and the printed PVC looks very similar from normal viewing distances while being fully waterproof, UV-resistant and easy to clean. For a majlis used every day and exposed to dust, particularly near Sharjah's industrial areas, the PVC option is the practical choice. Many owners pair a printed PVC exterior with a traditional fabric interior. Samples of both are available at our Sajja workshop.
Can you install a bathroom inside the Majlis?+
Yes. Custom majlis tents we build in Sharjah frequently include partitioned washrooms and small preparation kitchens, so guests can be looked after without entering the main house. These rooms are built with proper walls, doors, ventilation and lighting, and plumbing and drainage are connected to the villa's services by a licensed contractor. We plan the layout at the design stage so services are neatly concealed. Where the majlis is a permanent structure, Sharjah Municipality approval may be needed, and we prepare and submit the drawings. Our Sajja facility keeps fabrication lead times short.
