Installation is quick because the panels are roll-formed from steel coil and seamed together on site. It can. We apply closed-cell polyurethane foam insulation to the underside of the K-Span roof, which gives excellent thermal resistance in Abu Dhabi's heat. An uninsulated steel roof radiates a great deal of heat into the building in summer, so insulation makes warehouses and workshops much more comfortable and cuts the cost of any air-conditioning. The foam also reduces condensation, which protects stored goods, and dampens rain noise. For buildings near the coast, the foam helps protect the underside of the steel as well. We recommend a thickness based on the building's use.
