A standard 6x6m pagoda tent can be put up by a two-person crew in about 2-3 hours on level ground. A configuration of 10 joined units, covering about 360 square metres, usually takes a team of 6-8 people about 6-8 hours. For Dubai events with tight setup windows, such as hotel pre-function areas and plaza activations in DIFC, we can pre-stage components and assemble in short blocks of time, including overnight or before dawn for events the next morning. The time also depends on the surface, the anchoring method and extras such as flooring, linings and lighting, so we confirm the schedule after a site check. Dismantling is quicker, usually about half the setup time.

Yes, with the right setup. Our aluminium pagoda tents use UV-stabilised PVC canopy fabric in a white or silver finish that absorbs little heat. The canopy blocks direct sun while open or mesh side walls let air through. For summer events in Dubai we recommend pairing the tents with portable evaporative fans or spot coolers, and in winter and spring, pagoda tents with closed PVC side walls give excellent shelter for garden parties and outdoor dining. Timing helps too: evening events in the warmer months are far more comfortable than daytime ones. Where the event needs full air-conditioning, closed side walls, flooring and a liner help the cooling work efficiently, and we can advise on capacity.

Yes. Pagoda tents are regularly set up on rooftop terraces, hotel pool decks, plaza surfaces in DIFC and Downtown, and other hard-surface venues in Dubai. On hard surfaces we use ballast base plates, filled with water or sand, that anchor the frame without penetrating the surface, which makes them suitable for venues where drilling or pegs are not allowed. The amount of ballast is set by the tent size, the side-wall configuration and the site's wind exposure, with rooftops and open plazas needing more. We can provide information on the loads the tent places on a rooftop slab for building management approval. Protective pads under the base plates prevent marks on stone or decking.
